National Poetry Month 2022

Every year, as April approaches, I say I'm going to write a poem a day during National Poetry Month. And every year, I go strong for like, 3 days, and fall off the rest of the month. This year, I committed to 30 poems in 30 days. It was okay if I didn't write every day or if I was inspired to write multiple times a day. I was going to have 30 poems I started or finished by the end of the month. Did that happen this year? Almost. This is FAR more progress than I've made in previous attempts, so I'm happy. It forced me to write, which was why I wanted to do this. This was a good poetry month.

Here's the next part of this writing practice. One of my favorite poets posted this to his account, and so here we go again! Thank you for reading. If you're a paid subscriber, please sign in to continue.
